"Works great... when it feels like it"
I really do like the idea of SkyGolf, and when the device actually behaves, it’s solid. But man, mine keeps dropping connection in the middle of rounds. Some days it syncs no problem, other days it just sits there doing nothing and I’m stuck messing with it instead of, you know, actually playing golf.
The app isn’t exactly helping either. It loads slow, randomly logs me out, and every update feels like it fixes one thing but breaks two more. For what this thing costs, I expected it to be way more dependable. Kinda frustrating, not gonna lie.

"Shipping was fine, but the return dragged on"
Shipping was okay and showed up without much hassle, but the product kind of works when it wants to, which is frustrating. I ended up dealing with the warranty/return process, and it was just okay overall. It did get handled eventually, but it took longer than I expected

"I really wanted to like this and..."
I really wanted to like this and expected it to be way more reliable based on what it claimed to do, but it just didn’t match the reality on my local course. The yardages were off by quite a bit, and a few holes looked like they were mapped wrong, with bunkers and greens not lining up where they should. It worked okay here and there, but during an actual round I never felt like I could fully trust it...

"Good support, but watch for sync issues"
Just a heads-up for anyone renewing their SkyGolf account: mine didn’t sync properly right after I renewed, so don’t assume everything will update on its own right away. I noticed something was off and sent a message, not expecting to hear back that same day.
To their credit, support replied quickly and walked me through the steps to fix it. It did take one extra email to fully get it sorted, but they didn’t disappear or give me some canned answer, which I appreciated.

It wasn’t a totally smooth experience, so I’d warn people to double-check their account after renewing. Still, compared to some other golf tech support I’ve dealt with, this was way better. I’d give it 4 stars.

"Battery lasts forever and handles being knocked around"
I’ve been using my SkyGolf unit for a few months now, the battery life has been better than I expected. I can get through a full round without worrying about it, and there’s usually still plenty left when I’m done.
I’m not exactly gentle with my golf gear, so it’s been tossed in the bag, left in the cart, and bumped around a bit. So far it’s held up really well and I haven’t had any glitches or weird problems with it.
I ordered it from skygolf.com and the whole thing was easy enough. Overall I’m happy with it, I’d definitely buy it again.

"Good value for the price"
I’ve been using SkyGolf for a while now, the subscription feels fair to me. It’s not too expensive, and I’ve found the course info useful enough that it feels worth paying for. Renewing was simple too, so overall I don’t really have any major complaints.

"Pretty straightforward to get set up"
I was expecting the setup to take longer, but it ended up being quick. I didn’t really have to dig around in settings or figure out a bunch of confusing steps, which I appreciated. The site itself is simple to use, and everything I tried worked the first time without any weird errors or problems. So overall, it was an easy experience and I don’t really have anything to complain about
